Built by a working Florida inspector. If something isn't right, tell us — you'll be talking to the person who wrote the app.
The more of this you can give us, the faster we can fix it:
Please don't send us client information or completed inspection reports. We don't need them to help you, and we would rather not have them. A screenshot with the client's name blocked out is plenty.
Tru Inspect syncs through your own iCloud account, so both devices need to be signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on. Check Settings › [your name] › iCloud on each device and confirm Tru Inspect is enabled. Sync also needs a network connection — inspections created in a house with no signal will appear once the device is back online.
Yes. Everything is stored on the device first. You can run a complete inspection, take photos, and capture signatures with no connection at all. Syncing happens later, on its own.
Each inspection renders to a PDF you can share from the device — email it, save it to Files, or send it however you normally deliver reports. The report is generated on your device.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device to change or cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the current period ends. Refund requests also go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Tell us — specifically. Tru Inspect renders the official Florida forms, and if a field doesn't accommodate a real-world case you've run into, that's worth fixing properly. Name the form and the field and we'll look at it.
If a rendered PDF doesn't match what the carrier or the state expects, that's the most important kind of bug we can receive. When you report one:
You don't need to send the filled report. A description of the field and the correct behaviour is enough.
Feature requests are welcome at the same address. Requests that come with the situation attached — "on a mobile home there's no roof permit date, so I need to enter text instead" — are far more useful than a bare feature name, and they're the ones that get built.
